SENIOR HELP LINE—MULLINGAR
What is the Senior Help Line? The Senior Help Line is a peer to peer confidential listening service for older people. We have a lo-call National Helpline number which is accessible from any part of the country. Most of our callers are older people who are isolated and lonely and just want to talk with a friendly ear. All of our volunteers are older people. How much time is involved? It would mean a commitment of 3 hours, once, in every four or five week period. This would be on either Mondays: 7-10pm or Tuesdays: 7-10pm Will I need Training?
Our 3 day Help Line Training programme will prepare a volunteer for taking calls on Senior Help Line. How can I find out more? Please contact me on the number below for further information. Damian Leneghan, Training Manager, 018029020 /0863951251
