FAS, Mullingar in conjunction with Westmeath Community Development Ltd and Belvedere House Gardens & Park will run a Local Training Initiative in Mullingar. Applications are invited for places on this programme from individuals who meet the requirements set out below. § Plant Science § Soil Science and Growing Media § Plant Identification and use § Landscape Construction and Maintenance § Food Crops § Communications § Safety and Health at Work § Work Experience § Safe pass Trainee Profile: Applicants should be a Minimum of 18 Years of age. Must be well motivated and have a positive attitude towards working in the Horticulture Sector. Must have own transport /lift to Belvedere House, Gardens & Park three days a week. (Mon-Wed). Thursday & Friday learners will be based in Westmeath Community Development, Blackhall, Mullingar. For further information and to register for this course, contact:
