Are you having trouble getting the job you want? Westmeath Community Development Ltd provides a training service for local unemployed people to help them find suitable work. The Athlone Job Club is a practical course in which members develop skills, which they will use in actual job finding activities under the guidance and care of the Job Club staff. Those who take part in the job club training course will: · Have a professional C.V. compiled for them · Develop job-seeking skills · Have the chance to explore local work opportunities · Have the opportunity to identify their own strengths and skills and match them to local work opportunities · Develop a network of contacts which can actively help them in obtaining work · Each participant attending will receive €20 per week to meet their expenses. The next Job Club Course commences in Athlone on the 09th March 2009 Course Duration: From 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday over two weeks, however services are available to people for as long as they need them thereafter.
