FoodThe Food and Health project is looking to train up more Food and Health instructors to facilitate our very popular community course - Healthy Food Made Easy, to community groups in counties Longford and Westmeath.

Training will start on 2nd November and will run for 5 weeks (on Tue/ Wed/ Thurs mornings) – this training will be in Athlone. 

Once trained Food and Health instructors are expected to deliver at least 2-3 courses per year (each course is 6 sessions). 

There is also an opportunity for future training on the delivery of other community course provided by the project.

A training allowance is payable to trainees.

What we are looking for:
•    Enthusiastic people who are not daunted by the prospect of leading a group
•    Someone who is involved in community groups

You do not need to have any prior experience with food, cookery or group facilitation
