The first of our series of visual art workshops is being planned for Ballynacargy Parish Hall as part of the new Westmeath Rural Arts Initiative project. Respected Westmeath artist Celine Sheridan will deliver an introductory workshop in Ballynacargy Parish Hall on Thursday, Feb 18th from 7.30-9.30p.m.

The theme of the series of workshops will be decided on the 18th depending on what people would like to do. Celine’s area of expertise is drawing but she also teaches painting and mosaic. She recently completed a Westmeath County Council commission for a mural in Kilbeggan with the local secondary school transition years and has just completed her M.A. in Visual Arts Practices.
