Culture Night 2012
Culture Night is coming back to Westmeath on Friday 21st September, 2012 when locals and visitors will enjoy the unique experience of Culture Night, a free night of entertainment, discovery and adventure taking place across the County. Arts Organisations, centres, museums, galleries, churches, historic houses and artists’ studios will open their doors late into the evening welcoming people of all ages to taste and sample their cultural delights for free on the evening.
This year Westmeath County Council are hoping for each town involved across Westmeath to unite in a unique cultural experience in order to showcase what Westmeath has to offer from culture to talent to entertainment and encourage the bulk of each town’s street/outdoor entertainment offering to take place in one hub or area in order to promote a festival or carnival atmosphere on the street and really showcase Westmeath Culture.
