Irish Rural Link invite you to the launch of

Reaching Out: Supporting the Integration of Non-Irish Nationals in Rural Ireland
Information and Resources for Rural Community and Voluntary Groups

On Tuesday, March 3rd at 11am
in the Oak Room, Buswells Hotel, Molesworth Street, Dublin 2
by Clement Esebamen, Senior Policy Advisor, Office of the Minister for Integration

Irish Rural Link wishes to support all rural community and voluntary groups to look at ways of reaching out to newcomers from all nationalities in their community.

Large numbers of non-Irish nationals have moved to rural Ireland over the past decade and despite the deterioration of the national and global economy many non-Irish nationals intend to remain. Irish research, policy and media comment has paid very little attention to the experiences of both newcomers in rural areas and the rural communities who have received them. Similarly, discussions on rural development and rural social exclusion have to date paid little attention to the presence of new minority communities who are now living in rural Ireland. The report is intended to be a valuable source of information and inspiration for rural Community and Voluntary Groups.

The report will be available to download on our website from March 3rd.
