LECTURE – MR JOHN LONERGAN 

NCOs Mess, Mullingar at 8.00 p.m. on Thurs 19 Feb

I am delighted to announce the second in our series of monthly lectures. Mr John Lonergan is the long serving Governor of Mountjoy Prison. He is also well known media personality, and is best known for his forthright views regarding many societal issues, based on his unique set of experiences.  

 

John has kindly agreed to provide a lecture in the NCOs Mess at 8.00 p.m. on Thurs 19 Feb, at which he will share with us his views regarding the many challenges associated with living in our modern society. In particular he will outline his interpretation of needs currently facing communities, the importance of awareness and the responsibilities to provide inspiration to the people. These issues are particularly relevant in this time of recession. Hopefully, this interesting presentation will generate some interesting debate.
