WCDL are joining with other organizations in Athlone to work on putting together a Halloween Festival in October this year. The purpose of this is to try and prevent illegal bonfires (which are a danger to health and safety) and anti social behaviour. A public meeting to discuss this further, will take place on Thursday 25th June at 7.30pm in Shannonbank Training Centre, Athlone. Anyone with any ideas or wishing to volunteer to help is welcome to attend.
