This year's theme will be "Goldsmith: Poet, Dramatist and Novelist" and consists of Speakers, lecturers, panel discussion and national poetry competition (adults and children)
Confirmed speakers include Dr Chris Wheatley, Washington USA, Dr Andrew Carpenter, UCD, Dr Fergus O Farrell, and poet Dermot Egan.
Now in it's 25th year, the festival takes place in various venues all over 'Goldsmith Country' in the South Longford - Westmeath Area. The festival, it is the third longest running event of its type in the country and has established itself as one of the foremost and most highly respected schools of its type in Ireland.
