Westmeath Community Development

This is the first festival of its kind in Rathowen, to encourage community spirit, assist with local business and enterprise, all while enjoying what this wonderful community has to offer while ensuring that a traditional element is present while providing all the fun and games for both young and old. Live Music all weekend, with well known local musician, Ita Tighe starting the festivities on Friday with dancing and BBQ till late. EPIC play on Sat night in Feerick’s Hotel, with a DJ until late. A Ceili will take place in the Community Centre on Sunday afternoon. The Country Fayre on Saturday will be a main attraction on the day with renowned Pyschic Medium, Sean Sugrue. Sunday has all the fun and games on the family day.
