pumpkinWCDL have just received funding through Westmeath VEC from Young people services and facilities fund to organise a Halloween Festival on Saturday 31st October in Athlone. The idea came from the community reps on the RAPID AIT and is now coming to fruition thanks to a lot of hard working committed people from the statutory, community and voluntary sector  who are involved in the planning of this event.

There will be ghouls, ghosts and spooks out on the night and activities start at 6pm from Athlone Civic Square with a Halloween parade in Athlone Town and back to the civic square then for a Monsters Ball of dancing to bands, DJ, fancy dress competition and lots more craic. Please note this is strictly a non -alcoholic event.
